xCOLOUR ME HAPPY- ADULTS -Because Adults deserve to be happy too!
Each week you will have the opportunity to use and learn the basics of different mediums, learn new skills and techniques, and let go of stress.
Rather than focusing on a "perfectly finished piece" In this program we focus on the process and joy of creating and trying new things. Creating art is not only fun, it can also help with stress relief, aid in processing emotions and feelings, and improve fine motor skills. Classes are small groups, with only 12 places available in each class.
Programs start week 2 of term 4, following the school term. Classes will run weekly on Wednesday evenings for the duration of Term 4 (9weeks)

Adults Art Workshop T's & C's

Unit 5/18 Hedland Place, Karratha
Directly Downstairs from Karratha Business Enterprise
Timing:
The Adults Art program starts week 2 of Term and runs every Wednesday evening 7pm- 9pm. We aim to finish around 8.30pm and there is no pressure to stay till 9pm, we just keep it open later for those who are really in the zone and want to work on their project a little longer! Doors close 9pm.
Details:
All necessary materials each week will be provided.
We have a water filter in the studio, and you are also welcome to make yourself a cup of your favorite tea/coffee and we always have cookies!
The Team: Facilitator Jessica Walford is a local, award-winning artist with over 12 years' experience working with children, and 7 years' experience Facilitating Children's art programs throughout the Pilbara. Jess has three amazing artistic children of her own ages 13, 11 & 9yrs.. her "Three Birds" and is a Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach.
Assistant Sofi Twaddle is a local, award-winning artist with 4 years experience working with children and running & assisting art workshops at Three Birds creative.

We appreciate life's unpredictability. However, due to extensive preparatory work involved for each class, we cannot offer refunds, transfers, or credits for missed sessions. All purchases are final.

Before coming to any classes with Jess, I had not done “organised” art since early high school. I didn’t have any confidence in myself to do art, because I could never seem to “do it right” in the past.
Jess banishes all those inhibitions. Claiming to have failed art at school herself, Jess provides a space to totally be yourself and create art however you see fit.
She provides guidance if you want it, makes suggestions as you need it, but gives you the confidence to just feel your emotions and do whatever comes naturally. She celebrates everyone and their work and encourages everyone to just have a go. There are no mistakes. There is no “one way to do it”.
This is the ultimate art class!! If you have ever wanted to just let go and try different mediums and be in a comforting and relaxed space, this is the place for you.
You will create pieces you can be proud of and not feel judged in anyway.
This is the best “me” time I have ever given myself. I will definitely be back next term!
